Driving to Bristol airport by car
Bristol airport is located 8 miles south of Bristol and has excellent motorway links. Indeed this is one of the easiest airports to find off the A38.
From the North
Passengers coming from the North will leave the M5 at junction 18 and take the A4 to Bristol, following signs for the airport. This will take you past Bristol football ground and then onto the A38 towards Taunton. Bristol airport is off the A38.
From the South
Leave M5 at junction 22 taking the third exit signposted A38. Once on the A38 continue for about 11 miles and the airport is on your left.
From the East
Leave the M4 at Junction 20 and join the M5 and leave at junction 18 and then follow instructions from the north.
From the West and South Wales
Leave M4 at junction 22 and join M49 and the M5 and then use instructions from the North.
Getting to the airport by bus
The only connection to Bristol airport is by Bristol international flyer from the main Bristol bus station. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
National Express connect to this bus station from all over the country. Please ensure your connections and flight times leave sufficient comfort.
Bristol Airport by train
As with the bus connections the Bristol flyer is the only connection from Bristol Temple Meads railway station. The rail network connects to this station from all over the country.
